Cybersecurity company — Cairo

    Cybersecurity company in Cairo

Cairo concentrates the country's banks, holding companies, hospitals, technology firms and government suppliers — and with them, most of Egypt's attack surface. RASED works with organisations across Cairo, Giza, Nasr City, Maadi, Fifth Settlement, Smart Village and the New Administrative Capital.

What Cairo organisations ask us for most

The most common first engagement in Cairo is an external attack surface review followed by a penetration test — usually because a client, a bank partner or an auditor has asked for evidence. What that exercise almost always uncovers is not a zero-day, but forgotten infrastructure: a staging server still online, an old subdomain pointing at an abandoned host, an admin panel reachable from the public internet.

The second request is monitoring. Cairo teams are large enough to have an IT department but rarely large enough to staff a night shift. That gap — between six in the evening and eight in the morning — is where most damaging activity happens, and it is exactly what a managed SOC covers.

Working with head offices and group structures

Many Cairo head offices sit above subsidiaries with their own systems, their own suppliers and their own bad habits. We map the group as one attack surface, then set monitoring and access rules that reflect reality — including the shared file servers and the finance team that everybody emails.

    Frequently asked questions

Do you visit offices in Cairo or work only remotely?

Both. Assessments, monitoring and most testing run remotely. Kick-off workshops, incident response, forensic imaging and executive briefings are done on site anywhere in Greater Cairo when you want them face to face.

How long does a penetration test take?

A focused external test is typically one to two weeks including reporting. A full internal and application assessment for a mid-sized Cairo organisation usually runs three to four weeks. You get findings as we confirm them, not only at the end.

Can you cover the night shift only?

Yes. Some Cairo clients keep daytime triage in-house and hand over evenings, weekends and public holidays to us. The handover rules and escalation contacts are agreed in writing before we start.
