How to Choose the Best .com Domain Registrar in Saudi Arabia (2026)

    In three lines

    • Every registrar sells the same thing: a line in a global registry.
    • Ask one question before paying: will my company be the registrant, and will I hold the login to the registrar account?
    • First-year offers are marketing.

Every registrar sells the same thing: a line in a global registry. The price of that line barely differs. What differs enormously is what happens after the payment — who is recorded as the owner, what you pay next year, and who answers when your email stops at nine at night. Here is how to test a registrar before you trust it with your company's name.

Test one: who is the registrant?

Ask one question before paying: will my company be the registrant, and will I hold the login to the registrar account? If the answer is vague, stop. A domain registered inside a supplier's account is a domain you rent, not own, and the rent can be raised at the worst possible moment.

A professional registrar hands you a written record: registrant details, account email, expiry date, and every DNS entry it configured. If you cannot log in and see your own domain today, you do not control it.

    • The registrant must be your company or commercial registration
    • The registrar account email must be one you will still control in five years
    • Ask for the handover document in writing, not a verbal promise

Test two: what is the renewal price?

First-year offers are marketing. Renewal is the real price. A .com advertised at 15 SAR often renews at 70 to 90, and over five years you pay more than with a registrar that charges one honest rate from the start.

Ask for the renewal figure in writing before you buy, and check whether transfers out cost anything. A registrar that charges you to leave is telling you something about its confidence in the service.

    • Compare the five-year total, not the first invoice
    • Confirm transfer-out is free and the domain is unlocked on request
    • Auto-renew plus a valid card is the cheapest insurance you will ever buy

Test three: how fast is support, and in which language?

Domains are boring until they break. Then a DNS record, a mail route or a lock becomes urgent, and the difference between a WhatsApp reply in ten minutes and an English ticket answered in two days is the difference between an inconvenience and a lost week of invoices.

Test support before you need it: send a technical question — how do you configure DMARC in reject mode — and judge the answer. If the reply is a copied link, you have your answer about the next emergency.

    • Arabic and English support, answered by engineers not scripts
    • A named channel — WhatsApp or direct email — not only a ticket form
    • Clear treatment of outages as urgent, including outside working hours

Test four: does anyone configure it properly?

Registration is five minutes of work. The value is in what follows: DNS records for the website, MX for mail, SPF, DKIM and DMARC so your messages are trusted, registrar lock and WHOIS privacy so the name cannot be moved behind your back.

Skip that work and the symptom appears weeks later, quietly: proposals landing in spam, a client saying they never received the invoice, or a fake message sent from a name that looks exactly like yours.

    Where RASED stands

We register .com names for Saudi companies at 59 SAR a year, renewing at the same rate, always under the client's own details, with DNS and email records configured and documented, and Arabic support from the engineers who did the setup. We also take over existing portfolios and clean them up.

    • Register a .com: /domains/com-domain
    • Ten names or more: /domains/bulk-com-domains
    • Expired name: /domains/com-domain-renewal

    The practical takeaway

Judge a registrar on four things: the registrant is you, the renewal price equals the first year, support answers fast in your language, and someone configures DNS and email properly. Price is the least important of them.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I judge a domain registrar?

Four checks: the domain is in your name, the renewal price equals the first-year price, support answers in Arabic within minutes, and DNS changes are made for you the same day.

Does RASED support agencies managing many domains?

Yes — bulk registration starts at 55 SAR per domain from 10 names and 49 SAR from 50, on one consolidated invoice with a single renewal calendar.
